Colourpop Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer

February 1st,

Ok… I want to tell you how I feel about this Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer.  This latest complexion from Colourpop is actually the answer to my prayer. I always want a real tinted moisturizer; a moisturizer that’s tinted. But most of the tinted moisturizer in the market does not acted as tinted; it’s more like a foundation with a moisturizer agents; which I don’t want that. Yes, I am looking for something that has skin like finished; my skin but better. A tinted moisturizer that has a skin care ingredients. I don’t want to look makeup-y.

Then at the launcing date of this product, I saw the reveal video by Kathleenlights. I was like… this must be it…. I liked the finished, not too dewy and it looks radiant, pretty much buildable. I liked the ingredients, who doesn’t like Hyaluronic Acid for their skin and then added with coconut water? That’s it … I have to have it. Well u guys already know the story how I got it, I bought it directly from www.colourpop.com , I add the link down below.

I have used this for more than two weeks, but before I tell you about this tinted moisturizer, I will tell you about my skin. I have a neutral to warm medium skin tone, I have a combination skin; oily in my T-zone and quite dry around my jaw line, I have acne scaring (thou it’s not much) and hormonal acne used to pay a visit at its regular time 😀

How I apply it?

I prefer to apply it with my hand just like how I apply my moisturizer. One and half pump is enough for me to cover my face.

I have tried using a damp beauty sponges, it takes away the shine from my face; which I don’t want. However, it does have a beautiful finished even thou it less radiant. Maybe, you will need to apply more ‘cause beauty sponges tend to absorb the product a bit.

When I tried to use a brush, call me crazy but I feel like it leaves a streak marks on my face. I don’t know if it is like that or the problem lies in my brush, but with that being said no brush for me.

Do I need to set it?

Yes, for me I do feel that it has to be set with powder. Although, if I plan to just stay at home it is ok to just leave the tinted moisturizer as is, however it does take times to set.

I’m a little bit picky with powder, I don’t like powdery feeling. My under eye quite dry and so is my jaw line. I prefer a very fine mill loose powder to set my face. I set my T-zone area with a translucent matt powder (I’m using RCMA) as for the rest of my face I’m using a non-matt powder (I haven’t got anything that good for me so, I still can’t tell you what product that I’m using).  I know its feel like a high maintenance job using two kinds of loose powder, but what can I do? My dry area of my face can be quite rough sometimes.

I have tried a powder foundation to set and I don’t like it. Somehow I feel like it’s make me cakey, beside I don’t need any additional coverage either. However, a non-foundation compact powder might work.

The only non-foundation powder that I have currently is a local brand from Rose All Day; it called The Realest Lightweight Compact Powder. I bought it recently after the Pretty Fresh Foundation and let me tell you… I LOVE……………..the powder and the combo between these two. It’s a match from heaven, beautiful just like how I want it. I will make a separate article regarding the powder as this powder is literally the first powder that I love; now it became my holy grail.

What it does to my face?

My skin looked fresh, well moisturized, plump, and radiant, it’s even out my skin tone, and at the end my face is well moisturized. Shade medium 12W matched me really well.  I LOVE IT.

Well, I can call this a holy grail of mine now. I have seen myself re-purchased this in the future. I hope you like it like I do. Bye..
